Review of Two Days, One Night (2014) by Anthony C — 09 Dec 2014
Marion Cotillard is fantastic in this simple film about the human spirit. There's a reason she is winning award after award and it's the frailty and genuine emotion she brings to Sandra that has you praying things go her way.
Cotillard takes us on a journey from low to high. The film is quiet, relaxed yet deeply involving thanks to its simplicity and well, Cotillard. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's certainly worth viewing, if for Cotillard alone.
