Review of Two Brothers (2004) by David F — 21 Apr 2011
A touching animal movie with a message. Great scenery, excellent tiger cub footage, and a lead character who turns from a big game-hunting, tomb-raiding, Indiana Jones type to a sensitive protector of wildlife and Cambodia's temples. There are slap-stick elements at the beginning of the last third of the film which show the creativeness of the director.
On another note, I remember when this was being shot, and the area in front of the post office in Phnom Penh was turned into the market place where many of the city scenes were filmed. The" prison" is now a top restaurant.
