Though I have not seen the lauded/cancelled television series on which this prequal/sequal is based - it must be said that this is a very difficult movie to watch. Seemingly overacted, pretentious and confusing - Lynch, who normally pushes my buttons, has shown us a little bit too much of his eccentric mind.
