Review of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) by André D — 11 Feb 2010
Wow. I could not pay attention the first couple times. Id just have it on while I did other stuff and when I looked at the screen something weird would be happening. It is most definately a super strange flick but if you can get into it and watch it a few times, you will understand what it is about.
David Lynch-awe-what are we gonna do with this guy. Eventually it grew on me. I would watch it again for sure cuz it is entertaining. You can watch it many times because of its complexities. You may not be willing to finish watching it at first-i know I was unsure.
It is a bit controversial with incest. I recommend it for those who have patience to interpret. It gives you something to figure out. Btw-to those of you who are younger-the history behind this movie is: Twin Peaks was a popular tv series in the early 90's that aired for only one season.
It was an eccentric murder mystery of sorts. Through out the season-the mystery was-who killed Laura Palmer? The series ended with out an answer and this movie is David Lynch's unveiling of the who did it.
