Review of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) by Nicole S — 11 Feb 2010
Edgy and at times difficult to watch (albeit less impenetrable than a fair amount of Lynch's oeuvre), this film nonetheless provides a degree of emotional closure as well as some (highly elliptical) insights into the nature of some of the more seemingly benign denizens of this world.
It probably goes without saying that you shouldn't try tackling this movie without first watching the series. The story's straightforward enough, but there are at least a dozen references that'll whiz right over your head (and some that might regardless).
