Review of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) by Richard C — 12 Feb 2010
While watching this rather uninteresting film I fell into an amnesiac "Zone" several times. I can't remember what happened in some parts of the film, exactly, but I remember Twin Peaks as a whole is friggen weird in that "Wow, the characteristics of that person on screen have become diluted and/or inverted" kind of way.
I don't care to put the relevant parts together. What was the point of investigation? What did the high school girl have to do with anything? What does the cover represent? What the hell does the title mean? These are all simple questions that I don't care to answer 'cause the film presents its evidence in a dumb fashion.
Never saw the series; probably never will. David Lynch is collectively overrated but this one was lukewarm and stale.
