Review of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) by Rob S — 12 Oct 2009
If you are unable to let go of the mystery left behind by the famous TV series(Twin Peaks), then this movie is not for you, but if you are ready for some answers delivered in a cinematic way that only David Lynch could create, then get ready for one of the best films Lynch has ever directed. Fire Walk With Me delivers performances that are unnervingly perfect for a storyline that is completely raw and unpredictable all backed by a soundtrack that will haunt you for days. I was completely rattled by the closing scene that proves Sheryl Lee to have been at the Peak of her career.
It is not necessary to watch the television series first, some people prefer to, but I find them to be two separate pieces of work that need to be appreciated in different ways. The choice is yours, either way I promise you will not be disappointed.
