This was pretty painful to watch. I thought that I better know what I'm making fun of when I crack a joke about Pat Robertson being more interesting than Rob Pattinson. The only redeeming quality (make that two) were the anticipation of something good and the cameo appearance of Claire de Lune.

Even though nothing good ended up coming, I still felt for a few minutes that I was getting my time's worth and that the film would get better. I can understand why this is popular though. Bella Swan is the shallowest character ever imagined for a film.

Since she has no depth and the only quality about her is that no one understands her, every girl ages 11-19 can relate to what it feels like in her shoes. The fantasy intensifies when you have two men vying for you love and affection even if they may be even less interesting than yourself.
