When doing time travel the most common pitfall is the nonsensical time paradox trap. As in the effect without the cause. Even though the movie shows the lead character actions don't have any effect on the main event.
His interactions with her and her interactions with another side character in one scene do lead to a time paradox event. That being said I did enjoy the performances of all the actors. Even if this was not a well thought out time travel film.
