Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Vincent E — 02 May 2012
Gilliam, Willis, Pitt, the 90s, a bat-shit plot and a gothic science fiction style. It has it all. If you like that kind of stuff. I am a Willis fan and will forgive him for a lot, somehow I found myself drifting as this film progressed and I checked out during many of its "meaningful" sequences.
Its not a bad film, its probably a great film to sink your teeth into and unravel, or maybe its one of those films that its great to love because no one else "got it" or maybe you are a Gilliam loyalist.
It just didn't float my boat.
