Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Richie E — 10 Apr 2013
The key word that describes 12 Monkeys is bizarre. The film's style, story, and setting are all undeniably weird. Luckily, the film manages to stay consistently enjoyable due to the intelligence of the plot, the creepily wacky atmosphere, and the performances of the main cast, particularly Brad Pitt, who plays one of the most convincingly crazy characters I've ever seen in film.
I admire this film for all these reasons, and for its onslaught of intriguing ideas.
