Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Akshay H — 28 Oct 2014
The craziness of Terry Gilliam can be seen throughout the movie, and coupled with a great performance by Brad Pitt (one of his best), makes this film worth of a viewing. But the story ultimately lacks clear direction and fall into mundane plotlines.
I used to think more of this film, but was letdown by a recent viewing as being not as good as I remembered. I would have liked to have seen it go further and cookier than it does.
