Review of Tuya's Marriage (2006) by Zachary L — 13 Jun 2010
Another excellent film from China, right up there with King of Masks and The Road Home. The Chinese have an uncanny way of taking simple stories and creating remarkable films. I was amazed by the similarities between this culture and setting and that of the Navajo in the US.
Highly recommended to those who don't need fast-paced, violence-ridden cinema to hold your interest.
