This might be the most realist, honest, bold and also enganged children-of-war-movie I ever watch. I mean, could you ever imagine how kids really surviving war? a long unstoppable war that happening now on many countries?
They don't just cry for lost toys, families, or bodypart. They collect ammos. They sold used mines to get gun, food, television and pet fish. They even trapped (and planned to) drown other kid to death so they could get rid of their burden.
This movie trully is a masterpiece of war horrors. Not just because of that imageries. Nor because of the casts, screenplays and harmlessly funny characters. Because it's engaged my mind, precisely about how kids really surviving the wars. A situations that would much more horrible than every movie maker and ordinary family man in the world ever imagined.
