Very good and powerful drama about kids growing up in the more rural villages of Iraq. Not the kindest life, as many of the kids are injured from the Iran-Iraq war, and there's another war with the US brewing in the horizon.
Although it takes it's own sweet time in getting going, the kids are remarkable. The direction is quite tight, and the cinematography is really quite beautiful. But I mean, this is not for everyone, as I said, it can get slow at times.
