Review of Turbo (2013) by Scubasteve Walter M — 19 Nov 2013

Since animated films have become cliches in terms of story and genre, I expected the same old thing from turbo. It's not as funny as any other animations but it gives the audience an one of kind adventure.

Let's face it, we don't see snails doin' a drag race or joining the Indy 500. But at the middle of the film, I though how come all these animated films tell children that they can only achieve their dreams through this supernatural powers.

This always happen, not only in this film but also for the rest. I'm sick of it. But at the end of the film, how ironic that I was wrong. It did show that perseverance and hard work are the key to his success.

And that to me is quite something, seperating Turbo from the rest of the animated films.
