Turbo - 3D animation sports film - produced by DreamWorks Animation, story, co-written and directed by David Soren. Voiceover by Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Samuel L. Jackson. This animation film has inspired television series 'Turbo FAST'. Made on the budget of $127 million the film has earned total sum of $282,570,682. The idea for the story came from Soren's snail-infested backyard of the house he had moved in with his family, and his son's love for car-racing.

In trashy garden live swarm of snails among them two siblings 'Theo' (Reynolds) and 'Chet' (Paul Giammati). Theo who is fan of car-racing desires to be the speedy snail. Chet who has always defended and stood up for him asks him to leave things that are never going to happen at all. In an accident Theo gets sucked inside car compressor - when he wakes up he's been powered up and zooms at the lightning speed. All he now desires is to head to exhibit his skills to the world.

Excellent animations as well as superb characters; something that is at least fun to sit through. Paul Giammati and Samuel L. Jackson voicing for snails - how about that! Huh! We get stories with similar substance but to choose on whom to base the story on, is absolutely challenging. And like the director says 'opposite of slow is speed' so the stories keep coming.
