Review of Tully (2018) by Mike V — 17 May 2018
Tully is a 2018 American comedy-drama film directed by Jason Reitman.
I enjoyed this movie much more than I was expecting to. For the most I was riveted to the central character (with a strong performance by Theron) providing an intimate insight into her world. It lost me a little towards the end, but the big twist pulled me back and left me gob-smacked. I enjoyed the songs (which matched the narrative), and the small silent cinematographic moments scattered throughout. Definitely a movie that will have you thinking and reflecting long after the credits have rolled. D &MC.
