Morgan (James Spader) has just moved to the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles with his family to attend a new high school. Morgans family was once a wealthy family, but then his father lost his business, which forced the family to move to a less glamourous life. Morgan seems to end up in trouble where ever he goes, and in his new environment he finds trouble yet again when he falls for Frankie, the girlfriend of the local gang leader.

This is yet another 80s movie that ended up on my to see again list and I most say that "Tuff Turf" is quite poor in many ways. Bad acting, so so script, boom mikes showing up here and there, really cheesy scenes and shitty direction. If James Spader and Robert Downey Jr. feel ashamed of "Tuff Turf" today, I understand them. Nah, this was not so exciting to see again. Shelf this one.
