Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Elaine M — 21 Dec 2007
This has been labelled the South African 'City Of God' and fair enough, they're both fantastic films which focus of similar themes, but they're actually quite contrasting and shouldn't be thrown into one corner.
'Tsotsi' has an endearing simplicity to its plot which enhances the effect of the visuals, stunning acting and other elements which we're often blind to when there's a struggle following the story.
Awesome drama, with a neat ending...
