This film draws you in. The scene where Tsotsi accosts a homeless man in a wheelchair, asking him why he goes on living like a dog... The man's response is a powerful display of the strength of human will, which Tsotsi learns as he comes out of his nihilst behavior by showing sympathy for a baby he takes in after a car-jacking.
The injured dog scene is heart-wrenching and the dialogues regarding decency are inspiring.
