Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Jason R — 07 May 2008
I have no way to explain why I liked this like I did. 'A thug finds his heart, so what?' Maybe it was the way the movie was done, showing the true grit and poverty of the South African slum; maybe it was the look of this guy Tsotsi, who truly has a kid's face, while commiting atrocious acts against his fellow man; or maybe a thug finding his heart is always a worthwhile tale.
