Review of Truly Madly Deeply (1991) by Matthew T — 15 Jul 2008
A truly amazing picture. It balances the two extremes of deepest tragedy and humour throughout the film and sometimes in the space of one scene. I personally love the dead guys arguing over what films to watch and chastising Nina (Stevenson) for taping over Manhattan.
The acting is absolutely top caliber, the script is superb, it is gorgeous to look at. A truly great film from a truly great director!
