Review of Truly Madly Deeply (1991) by Moya W — 28 Nov 2010
I just noticed this film recieved the genre of "comedy" for some weird reason. One of the most overly done and least effective movies I have seen in quite a while. Another unbelievable movie. Trying to be something of a big film it falls on its face (for me, maybe not so for you).
A near waste of time, it comes with the least recommendation from me. For you and others, it could be a good movie.
By the way, didn't find the lead actress all that attractive but that's not her fault, she played the part pretty well. I thought I recognized Alan Rickman from somewhere, and sure enough its professor Snapes from Harry Potter!
Director: Anthony Minghella.
Writer: Anthony Minghella.
Stars:Juliet Stevenson, Alan Rickman and Jenny Howe.
