Review of True Romance (1993) by Bill H — 02 Apr 2011
Like the '90s version of Bonnie and Clyde, laden with pop-culture references as if penned by a geek's fantasy (Tarantino), but has its unique charm to it all. A love story with buckets of blood, bullets, sex, drugs, gangsters, more blood, and an an all-around great cast who seem to pop up from one scene after another. Nothing amounts to being "top-notch," it's just an entertaining piece meant to do what it does best.
The more I watch this, the more I love it...
