Review of True Romance (1993) by Bryan J — 19 Feb 2012

Nothing was missed in this fantastic movie. Everything from the actors cast in each role, to dialogue, action, sex, drugs and rock n roll. One of my top three of all time. Gary Oldman, Christian Slater, Dennis Hopper, Michael Madsen, Chris Penn, James Gandolfini, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt, Val Kilmer ( tough to notice its him), Samuel Jackson and on and on and on.

Quentin wrote the screenplay and sold it for money to produce Reservoir Dogs, tough to say which was better, but I think they hit the nail on the head when interpreting Quentins vision on screen. Fantastic, an A++ in my book.

Gary Oldman is great as a white pimp drug dealer, and Walken and Hopper have a dialogue scene which can never be forgotten once seen. Slater and Arquette have a romance which is played so well, you believe its carried on off camera.

Expect to see a great action movie, and you will be upgraded to a fantastic unforgettable joyride.
