Review of True Lies (1994) by Stig N — 16 Nov 2009
I just watched this film....
It's a James Cameron film.
James Cameron most underrated film.
The story followers Harry Tasker who is a father, husband, and computer salesman , in reality, Tasker is a spy in one of the United States government's. As Tasker continues to keep his profession a secret from his family, his wife, Helen, begins to surreptitiously meet with a used car salesman, Simon played the amazing Bill Paxton who previously worked work Cameron on aliens and the terminator. Upon discovering this, Tasker sets out on a personal mission to win his wife back and find out Simon's true motives. Meanwhile, a Middle Eastern terrorist organization known as "Crimson Jihad" is on the rise, threatening nuclear war with the United States if their demands are not met. As the clock winds down, Tasker must not only fight against the bloodthirsty terrorists, but also fight to regain the trust of his family.
The things that makes this film amazing is the amount of fun I had watching this. This film has some of the bets action pieces I've ever seen (The jet).
Definite recommended to people who want have a good time watch an awesome action film.
P.S One of the best trailers of all time.
