Review of True Lies (1994) by Todd S — 29 Mar 2012
One of those rare action movies that is also funny. The plot is fun and has enough action to satisfy. Arnold Schwarzenegger best role since Terminator 2 and Jamie Lee Curtis is dead-panly perfect as the bored wife, looking for adventure.
The action scenes and stunts are witterly wonderful and the plot breezes along perfectly. It's a film not to be taken seriously but to sit back and enjoy. Brilliantly directed and written by James Cameron an the cast are having fun.
You don't get many of these. It's Die Hard with so much humour.
