True Grit is a true gift to your eyes. Defenitly the best western I have ever seen, I'm mean, I thought I was going to like it, but I didn't, I loved it, this is what I like to call a real movie, this movie has the durity of one hour and fifty minutes, wich is impressive, this movie was really fast and I don't think it deserved the 7.8 IMDb, I mean, that rate was just the result of milions of votes, because if only two people said this movie's rating, I got to say, it wood be a hard 10. This movie is just fantastic, it is probably the third or second best movie wich appeard in the 2011 Oscar nominations.

The Coen brothers just direct this movie amazingly, loved their work here. The cast, well the cast is probably the best cast ever for a western, Jeff Bridges takes the lead role perfectly, his role was way better than Bad Blacke in Crazy Heart, I just loved his character, so as his amazing perfomance, Jeff is known from Crazy Heart, Iron Man, The Big Lebowsky, The Men Who Stare at Goats and much other movies. Hailee Steinfeld, what can I say, she had the most notable perfomance in this movie, I mean, she's much better than some other actresses of her age, she's just impressive, she had an amazing acting, suberb and incredible, I'm not surprised she was nominated for an Oscar, but I am surprised she didn't won it, how cood you imagine, just after being at some not popular titles and really just some of them, a fourteen year old girl stars in the first movie of her career with Bridges, Damon and Brolin and she is right way nominated to an Oscar, I mean, she borned with talent, I'm still impressed by that, really, one of the reasons that make this movie worth to watch is her excellent perfomance. Matt Damon is one of my favorite actors and he just shows that again in this movie, I loved his character and perfomance, I think everyone in this movie was nominated for some award but him, wich I think was stupid, I mean, Josh Brolin is a great actor, but he appeard in this movie for like five minutes, so Damon deserved an award much more than he did, I loved Damon in here, Matt is known from The Adjustment Bureau, Good Will Hunting, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Departed and much other movies. Josh Brolin takes the role who completes the main cast, but I had no idea that he was just going to star in the movie for like five minutes, I usually like Josh Brolin's perfomances but I can't say he had a good one on this movie, I mean, he was okay being on the screen saying a few words, because he basicly just did that, but wathever, Josh is knwon from Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, W., No Country For Old Men and some other movies. Overall, this movie has a fantastic cast, there's only a problem, Hailee Steinfeld was not menioned in the poster, and Brolin was... big mistake. Fantastic cast.

Mattie Ross (Hailee Steinfeld) is now searching for Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin), the guy who killed her father, with the help of a U.S. marshal, who's name is Rooster Cogborn (Jeff Bridges) and with the help of a Texas Ranger, LaBoeuf (Matt Damon). Mattie will not rest until she sees Chaney dead. Really good plot, it's the same plot of the movie that they maked a remake of, True Grit (1969). The plot was really enjoyable and it entertained me... a lot, really a lot.

Soundtrack, well the sountrack, was, let me see, really good, I really payed attention to it and there were several themes, including themes with piano, I loved this movie's soundtrack, they taked care of that well. One of the most good things in this movie was the excellent photografy, every minute, every second, there was an excellent photografy, congrats who made it happen.

Besides all that, I am now going to tell you what I really thought about this movie. First of all, this movie did had some really funny scenes between Bridges and Damon, specially the scene where they are arguing about their ability to shoot, I also liked the way the actors matched, I loved to see Jeff and Hailee together, they do really match. Well, this movie entertained me all the time, and by the way, just because we don't see a western for a long time, don't think that this movie doesn't work, because, I say it again, this is the western movie (Just a small detail, this western is for sure, way better than Back to The Future Part 3). I loved the characters lines, I still remeber some of them and I think that this is a memorable movie, it was nominated for ten Oscars and for some dumb and stupid reason, it didn't won, well, sometimes I love or just like a movie and I understand why some people didn't like it, but I'm sorry, I can't say that about this movie, who gives this movie a lower rating than four stars, it must be crazy, you must got to watch it again pal, this movie was really hard to not like, while I was watching it, it just coodn't grow of perfectness in front my eyes. Overall, this is one of the best movies I have ever seen, it has an awesome plot, a fantastic cast, it's really entertaining and it just shows that masterpieces can still be done. I say it again, True Gift is a true gift to your eyes. Best western ever made.

Fantastic movie. Extremely recommended movie, 100% recommended movie. Grade: A+.
