Review of True Grit (2010) by Cinemaquote — 30 Jan 2011
I ask you to please address me as Mattie Ross. This film is Coen Bros at their best. Damon is truly surprising as a fat, never shutting up-antihero. Bridges is as good with one eye as most of us with both.
And, obviously Hailee a refreshing role, so interesting and rich. Cinematography and story owe much to Cormac McCarthey, thank you dear Coens. Must, must see. Dont have to be a guy to love it.
