I thought I would hate this movie from the get-go because usually I won't even bother watching "war" movies. However, Troy really surprised me with the effects and storyline. It was actually GOOD, compared to what I thought was gonna happen: people with swords running at each other from far distances.
And yes, there is a bit of that but it really was a good movie.
