Review of Troy (2004) by Roshell S — 06 Nov 2012
An exhilarating film. BUT, as I watched this movie I kept asking myself "Who's the good guy and whos the bad guy?" Anyone who has seen this movie can agree that both sides had good traits that you would find in most protagonist.
Normally if a movie did this, making you pick a side like most cases in the real world, I would be impressed with the film's way of making the audence think. But the thing that separates Troy from my metaphorical movie is that in Troy you know who is going to win.
This completely destroys that feeling that most movies need. Over all the film is interesting and aggressive, it just needs more inner thought into it.
