Review of Troy (2004) by Hannah D — 24 May 2013

This is not usually my kind of film, but I've always been intrigued about that giant wooden horse, and the love story between Paris and Helen, so I thought I would give It a go. While the battle scenes didn't really do anything for me, I enjoyed the talky parts, and I appreciated all the CGI effects.

I was a bit disappointed that more was not made of the horse. It was kind of brushed over, but still, I am glad I watched it and I think it's just about done enough to encourage me to watch more action/adventure films.

And at least now I know a little about Homer's famous story, without having to go to the effort of reading it!
