The shear grandness of the shots are breathtaking, and the coordination to shoot the battle scenes are commendable. You get to see the Trojan horse and Archilles' Heel on screen, and the cast, from O'Toole, Cox, Pitt, Byrne, Bana, Kruger to Bean, all filled their roles pretty well.
I haven't seen the Theatrical version which is supposedly 30 minutes shorter, but I enjoyed the 3 hour and 15 minute Director's cut.
