Review of Trouble the Water (2008) by Anthony R — 15 Feb 2009
A powerful documentary following the experiences of a couple who were caught in the middle of Katrina and its aftermath - and who recorded it. From the flooding to the indifference and ineffectiveness of all levels of government to help those affected, it makes you realize there is a lot more to the story than you think you know.
Along with Spike Lee's "When the Levee Breaks", "Trouble the Water" captures a shameful moment in American history.
