Review of Trouble the Water (2008) by Cas M — 20 Sep 2009
Documentary of a family's experiences right before, during, after Katrina. Flawed but powerful with intense moments of heartbreak, bleakness, and inspiration. Strongest part is when the family's house is flooded and they must take to the water.
Of course being there during Katrina makes this film all the more meaningful for me.
