The main problem with 'Tropic Thunder' is that it was written by, produced by, directed by and stars Ben Stiller. It has a smug feel about it suggesting that all involved believe themselves to be oh so clever.
It's lazy comedy targetting blacks, gays and women. And will somebody please tell Tom Cruise that he cannot do comedy. Don't believe the hype!
