Review of Tron (1982) by Jeffrey D — 14 May 2012

I did not think I was going to enjoy this as much as I did. This movie is a blast. Most people focus on how ahead of its time the special effects are, and they are impressive, but the movie as a whole is interesting and exciting.

Jeff Bridges does a great job in his role of a game designer whole gets zapped into the digital world of The Grid. A benchmark for modern day science-fiction movies, this one should be appreciated for what it did not only in the realm of special effects, but for the entire science-fiction genre.
