I remember being very excited about this movie when it came out. Somehow I missed it in the theaters and it was a long time before it came out on video. I bought the story on an LP record and listened to it over and over. I finally got to see it years later on VHS.
When the new movie "Tron Legacy" came out, I took the opportunity to refresh my memory by re-watching the original with my kids. It was good to share a piece of history with them. This movie was groundbreaking and paved the way for the CGI special effects that are commonplace today.
