Review of Trolls (2016) by Matt A — 08 Apr 2017
Possibly one of the best animated films of the year. The story is simple and can appeal to both adults and kids alike and its very family friendly. The voice acting is on top form, Anna Kendrick is cast brilliantly as the optimistic Princess and Justin Timberlake is great as the pessimistic Branch.
The music is where its at its best though, especially as one of the best songs of the year is included (CANT STOP THE FEELING!) You cant help but sing a long. One of those films that makes you smile all the way through, the only thing that lets it down is the very abrupt conclusion.
But this is a very good film! Loved it!
