After watching the documentary "Best Worst Movie" about the supposed cult following that this much touted "worst film ever made" has apparently been gathering, I decided to go back to the source.
And, in my opinion, this alledged cult following is very misguided as Troll 2 is just awful and not in a" so bad it's good" way, it's just awful. The acting is beyond terrible and the dialog and story are unfathomably atrocious but, not in a way that makes you laugh like some of the Ed Wood gems.
Troll 2 is a disaster in every way, except a fun way. What's even worse is that the director, Claudio Fragasso, in recent interviews talks about this like it's a work of genius and it was all intentional.
Yea, right pal!
