Review of Troll 2 (1990) by Sheldon S — 23 Mar 2011
This movie is well... about 90 minutes.
In fairness this movie was never designed as a sequel to troll which was awful too but in different ways.
It was released as goblins in foreign markets and some other alt titles. Now it has become standard to hate and mock this movie however it has a decent enough message of family alienation and misunderstanding if you can plow through it's muddled confusion.
Acting is sub par but what should be expected for a movie called troll 2, however it is unintentionally hilarious and any fan of bad cinema should see this one, as well as any fan of MST3K because it will leave you with endless quips and riffs.
I am not going into plot one this one as there are so many other reviews from people far more serious than me.
What I am saying is this must be seen to be believed and fans of bad cinema such as myself will have a ball watching a movie that does everything wrong at the same time hard to do but true.
Especially for a movie without Tom Cruise.
Sit back relax laugh and lower your expectations.
