Review of Troll 2 (1990) by Guido S — 01 Jan 2014

Wasn't a fan of the first so I was a little hesitant to wath this one, but I gave it a chance anyways. This movie is bad, really really bad. The direction isn't good. The acting is bad across the board.

The dialogue is cringe worthy. There are scenes that make no sense (The popcorn lovemaking one, namely). It feels like vegetarian propaganda against the meat industry. Yet I enjoyed this. Sure, it is terribly done, but this is a case where everything comes together and this movie is actually somewhat enjoyable despite being horribly made.

This isn't high entertainment, don't get me wrong, but shut your brain off and come to have an hour or so of fun and this movie will deliver.
