It's a mushroom.

A horrible troll king discovers a mystical ring that can open a gateway between his world and Earth. He arrives in an apartment building where a little girl resides. The troll takes over a little girl, and the girl's apartment happens to be under a witch. The little girl's brother runs to the witch for help. Can the brother and witch stop the troll?

"Weird kid. Probably reads a lot.".

John Carl Buechler, director of Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood, Cellar Dweller, Ghoulies Go to College, Watchers Reborn, Deep Freeze, and A Light in the Forest, delivers Trolls. The storyline for this picture was fairly imaginative and relatively entertaining. The acting isn't terrible and the cast includes Noah Hathaway, Sonny Bono, Phil Fondacaro, Gary Sandy, Brad hall, Michael Moriarty, Shelley Hack, Anne Lockhart, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

"Your sister isn't an alien. She's something much worse.".

I came across this old horror gem on Netflix and had to add it to my queue. I used to love catching this on HBO when I was a kid as kind of a soft horror film that was "fun" in a way due to some cool/imaginative special effects. This isn't a special horror film, but it feels like a Jim Henson horror picture at times.

"My name is Harry Potter.".

Grade: C+.
