Review of Tristan & Isolde (2006) by Christa — 15 Jan 2006

Contrary to what some people might think, this is NOT a chick flick (well not entirely). Of course, it's a romance, but it also deals with treason, battle, courage and loyalty. I agree with Premiere and some people here to say that this is not a masterpiece, not a 'renaissance' in the art of epic romantic movies, BUT it is really entertaining with fantastic cinematography and great acting.

There were not a lot of men in the theatre, but those who were there actually enjoyed the movie a lot...
