Review of Triple 9 (2016) by Simon M — 19 Feb 2016

With an unlikable cast of corrupt characters, lots of 'attitude' and street gang culture on display, the film ends up leaving you with a bad taste and an unhappy ending. The plot doesn't really come together as a cohesive story (although all the threads do tie together), and it mis-balances the focus on the ridiculous supporting characters more than the leads.

Acting and action scenes are ok, but play out as expected.
