Review of Trilogy of Terror (1975) by Jorge P — 17 Oct 2009
Trilogy of Terror is one I saw as a young boy, I was around 7 or 8, when I first saw it. I loved this movie as a kid and still love it.
Well I have to be honest, the first two stories aren't so great. but fuck that they could have made the whole movie about the last story. But before I get to the last story just let me say I admire Karen Black, being able to pull of so many roles in one film and make them all cool characters. Karen Black is a very underated actress.
Alright to the last story, the one about that creepy as fuck little cannibal warrior doll. That thing is one of the scariest images ever caught on celluloid, Only scarier ones I can think of are my top three and that's #1. the Tall Man (Phantasm), #2. Deadite/Linda (EvilDead), #3. the T-Rex (Jurassic Park). That damn doll is as relentless as a pitbull chasing you, with a piece of raw steak hanging off of your ass! He tortures poor Karen all through her apartment, Stabing, Biting, and Clawing her to shreds.
If you haven't seen the Original Trilogy of Terror, you need to go out and find a copy buy it or rent, and you will not be dissapointed. One of the coolest little indie horror flicks you will find.
