Review of Trilogy of Terror (1975) by John M — 20 Oct 2008
It was supposedly scary back in 1975 but it's very very tame for today's standards. The final segment is the most well known and it's campy and very funny. When the doll came out of the bath tub with the knife in his mouth I laughed quite a bit.
The other two segments were more psychological and not very good. Matheson is the writer of one of the best horror novels "I am Legend" and many great "Twilight Zone" episodes. These are rather cheesy.
