This is one of those from the list of "movies I've been meaning to see for a long time but have never gotten around to." I'd heard word about how good it was for years, heard that a sequel is apparently in the works, and then I decided to just buy it and hope for the best.

It was worth it. It was oh so worth it. Anthology films tend to not work so much with me but the way these stories are connected, really with the holiday more than any effort to make it really super intricate, Each story works perfectly on their own and it's so smart. Nobody is what you think and there is so much fun and respect for the traditions of Halloween being used here it's just perfect. Everyone is awesome. This movie is just awesome. I'm just oh so impressed.
