Review of Tremors 5: Bloodlines (2015) by Jacob B — 10 Mar 2018
Seeing how each Tremors movie got worse with each sequel, I had no hope for Tremors 5 since I was incredibly disappointed with the prequel. However, I came out enjoying Tremors 5 more than I probably should've.
The special effects are actually quite convincing for a direct-to-DVD flick, the action is nearly on par with the first and second movies and it had me chuckling a little. The movie even felt cinematic at times especially with its amazing opening scene.
You could swear that it was a real documentary for a moment there. *cue people delighting themselves with the thought of such a thing on Discovery Channel or National Geographic* Michael Gross and Jamie Kennedy don't always bring out the Best in one Another.
In fact, half of the script is them calling each other out for their flaws. But I think Tremors 5 just might be the best Tremors sequel to date. Still Think they're Going too far with the addition of a sixth movie.
